FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern University Sharks Volleyball dropped a five-set thriller against the Barry University Buccaneers in the final home match of the 2025 season on Tuesday night.

• The first set began with the Buccaneers taking a 4-1 lead.
• The Sharks responded with three consecutive points, with a combo block by Olivia Aniol and Taylor Stockman, evening the set at 4-4.
• The Sharks and Buccaneers each added points, pushing the score to 10-8 in favor of Barry University.
• The Sharks surged into the lead at 12-10 with kills by Caiden Largent, Erika Spankus, and Abbie Roth.
• The Buccaneers regained the lead with a 6-2 scoring run, taking the score to 17-15.
• Erika Spankus and Taylor Stockman each recorded kills as the set reached 20-20.
• The Buccaneers finished the set with a 25-21 final score.
• The second set began with the Sharks and Buccaneers sitting even at 5-5, with the Sharks getting a pair of points from Taylor Stockman and a point from Brantley Chipley.
