LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The reigning national champions, the second-ranked Nova Southeastern Women's Tennis team secured a hard fought 4-3 victory over the Keiser University Seahawks at the NSU Tennis Complex at Rolling Hills. The Sharks have now won 12 consecutive matches dating back to April 28th, 2024.

Violet Apisah outlasted Kristyna Hranacova in a tight three-set battle, 6-7, 7-6, and winning the tiebreaker 10-3.

Ita Habekovic mounted a comeback to defeat Cato Tangkau in three sets, 5-7, 6-0, 6-1.

Sofia Shing fell against Eloise de Mooij in a 6-2, 6-2 defeat.

Liza Velykorodna ultimately defeated Isabella Ciancaglini in a three-set clash, 6-7, 6-1, while winning the tiebreaker 10-6.

No. 2 Nova Southeastern returns to the courts on Saturday, February 22nd, against Florida Southern College in SSC action at the NSU Tennis Complex at Rolling Hills. First serve is set for 10am.
