TAMPA, FLA. – The reigning national champions, the second-ranked Nova Southeastern Women's Tennis team secured a sweep in SSC action over the No. 20 University of Tampa Spartans at the Naimoli and Young Family Tennis Complex. The Sharks have now won 14 consecutive matches dating back to April 28th, 2024.

DOUBLES

• Victoria Sanchez Bronzetti and Nicole Cierniak defeated Ita Habekovic and Kristyna Hranacova in a close tiebreaker, winning 7-6 (7-3).

• Sofia Shing and Isabella Ciancaglini secured a dominant 6-3 victory over Nicole Casas and Sophia Gutkowski.

• Julia Moraes and Noemie Dadoun claimed a commanding 6-2 win against Alexandra Chebli and Ida Axelsson.

SINGLES

• Kristyna Hranacova dominated Victoria Sanchez Bronzetti with a commanding 6-0, 6-2 victory.

• Ita Habekovic fought through a tough three-set battle to defeat Nicole Casas 6-4, 4-6, 6-3.

• Sofia Shing pulled off a hard-fought comeback against Nicole Cierniak, securing a 2-6, 7-6 (7-3), 6-1 win.

• Isabella Ciancaglini held off Ida Axelsson in a competitive match, winning 7-5, 6-4.

• Noemie Dadoun held strong to take down Linn Eriksson Sundling 6-1, 7-5.

• Julia Moraes delivered a dominant performance against Sophie Wagner, winning convincingly 6-1, 6-1.

No. 2 Nova Southeastern returns to the courts on Tuesday, March 4th, against the University of West Florida at the Ralph "Skeeter" Carson Tennis Complex in Pensacola, FL. First serve is set for 2pm.
