FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The 25th-ranked Nova Southeastern Softball team won both games on Friday against the Caldwell University Cougars. NSU was dominant in game one, taking down the Cougars 9-1 in 5 innings. They followed that up with a gritty 4-3 victory in game two to complete the doubleheader sweep.

BOT 1st- Brenna Lokeinsky hit a sacrifice fly to center field to give the Sharks the early 1-0 lead.
TOP 2nd- Caldwell answered quickly to tie the game back up at 1.
BOT 4th- Along with two bases-loaded walks to bring home 2 runners, Cassidy Duskin hit a single out to left field to drive home another run as the Sharks lead 4-1.
BOT 5th- Brianna Matthews hit in a fielders choice to bring home one run to extend the lead to 5-1.
BOT 5th- Cassidy Duskin hit an infield single to drive home one, then scored along with Brianna Matthews on an overthrow by Caldwell to extend the lead 8-1.
BOT 5th- Gianna Russo hit a double to left-center to drive home Brenna Lokeinsky, to give the Sharks a 9-1 Run Rule Victory in 5 innings.

BOT 1st- Gianna Russo hit an infield single to the shortstop to drive home the game's first run to give the Sharks a 1-0 lead.
TOP 3rd- Caldwell answered on an error to tie the game back up at 1.
BOT 3rd- Lauren Margolis perfectly executed a sacrifice bunt to take back the lead for the Sharks, 2-1.
BOT 4th- Gianna Russo answered once again, hitting a single out to left field to drive home another two for the Sharks to take a 4-1 lead.
TOP 6th- Caldwell scored two runs off a single to center field to cut it to a one-run game.
TOP 7th- Gracie Wallace shut the door as she records her first save to give the Sharks a 4-3 lead
