BOULDER CITY, NV. - The seventh ranked Nova Southeastern Sharks Women's Golf team began play at the NCAA National Championship tournament on Tuesday morning. Following the first round NSU (+7/295) is tied for 13th place and trails the cut line by five strokes.
Lua Pousa Dacasa (+1/73) and
Rosanna Halls (+1/73) led the Sharks in the first round.

- Lua Pousa Dacasa recorded seven pars and a birdie across the front nine. On the back nine, following her second bogey of the round, Dacasa parred seven consecutive holes to finish the day one-over.
- After two straight bogeys to start the round, Rosanna Halls tallied seven consecutive hole on the front nine. Halls had two more bogeys on the back nine, but responded by tallying three birdies across the final six holes to finish one-over.
- Maria Torres Lobato began the round with seven straight pars, recording eight across the front nine.Torres added three birdies on the back nine, ending the round two-over.
- Ariana Carvalho added a pair of birdies on her front nine and finished the day by recording a birdie on two of the final three holes, ending the round three-over.
- Haruka Muta tallied three pars and a pair of birdies on the front nine. Following the turn, Muta parred three straight holes and closed the round by adding two pars and a birdie across her final three holes.
