ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. - For the third consecutive season, the second-ranked Nova Southeastern Sharks Women's Tennis team has made it to the NCAA Division II national championship. The Sharks defeated the No. 3 Mustangs of Midwestern State University (TX) 4-1 in the Final Four. 

The Sharks have now won 11 consecutive NCAA tournament matches and improve to 20-2 in the tournament since 2022.

DOUBLES

• Kristyna Hranacova and Isabella Ciancaglini  dominated Jessica Binzari and Anda Ghinga with a commanding 6–1 victory.
• Sofia Shing and Noemie Dadoun cruised to a 6–1 win over Hannah Yip and Camila Garcia Morales.

SINGLES

• Kristyna Hranacova controlled the tempo and defeated Jessica Binzari 6–4, 6–1.
• Hannah Yip secured a point for MSU with a victory over Ita Habekovic 7–5, 6–3 in a hard-fought match.
• Sofia Shing secured a straight-set 6–3, 6–3 win over Anda Ghinga.
• Julia Moraes outlasted Sydney Williams 6–1, 3–6, 6–1, finishing out the match strong.

The second-ranked Sharks will compete against conference rivals No. 1 Barry University in a 2024 National Championship rematch, on Sunday, May 25th. First serve is scheduled for 9 a.m. from Sanlando Park.
