#16 Sharks take down Falcons in Dominant Fashion

MONTEVALLO, Ala. - The 16th-ranked Nova Southeastern men's soccer team kept its undefeated record alive with a dominant 4-1 victory over Montevallo on Saturday evening. Santiago Hoyos Lopez led the way for the Sharks with two goals.

How it Happened

  • Toga Katsuma got the action started with a goal in the 10th minute to give NSU the early lead. 

  • Shortly after, Lopez joined the action with the Sharks second goal of the game off an assist by Andres Morral Rosales

  • Lopez wasn't done yet, scoring his second goal of the game in the 29th minute to push NSU ahead 3-0. 

  • In the 59th minute the Falcons got on the board to cut their deficit to two goals. 

  • Four minutes later, Aidan Marshall King lasered a shot into the back of the net off an assist by Lopez to give the Sharks a commanding 4-1 lead, ultimately securing the victory for Nova Southeastern.

The Sharks will return home to take open up conference play against top ranked Lynn. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 PM est.
