KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Earlier this week, the National Awards Committee and Small College Basketball announced the Bevo Francis Award Top 100 Watch List for the 2025-26 season. The Watch List, which is first announced just after the New Year and will be whittled down to 50 players in February, includes Shark standouts
Ross Reeves,
Dallas Graziani and
Jaxon Nap.
Reeves currently leads the Sharks and the Sunshine State Conference in both points and steals per game, as he averages 23.6 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 3.2 steals per contest. His 23.6 point-per-game average ranks third nationally. He is also hitting over 51 percent of his field goal attempts, while shooting 37.7 percent from behind the arc. The graduate student has nearly doubled his scoring production from a year ago, when he averaged 12.8 points to help Nova Southeastern to its second national title in three seasons.
Graziani, meanwhile, is averaging 18.7 points (fifth in the SSC), 5.7 assists (first in the SSC, 15th nationally) and 2.5 steals (second in the SSC to Reeves) per game. The senior, who recently broke the program record for career steals, is also shooting over 49 percent from the field and 35 percent from beyond the arc. Graziani currently stands at second in the SSC with a 3.2 assist to turnover ratio, and his steady play at the point guard position has guided NSU to its 12-1 start.
Newcomer
Jaxon Nap is third on the team in scoring at 14.8 points per contest, while also providing 8.4 rebounds per game, good enough for fourth in the SSC. Nap has recorded four double-doubles thus far, including a 23-point, 19-rebound, seven-assist breakout performance at Florida Southern back on January 3. The forward from Newcastle, Washington is converting over 50 percent of his field goal attempts and has also been a steady playmaker, averaging 3.0 assists per contest.
The Sharks will visit Lynn University tomorrow, and tip-off is scheduled for 4:00 PM. To stay up-to-date on Sharks Men's Basketball, be sure to follow on Instagram and X at NSU_MBasketball.
