How it Happened

The Sharks pounced on the Knights right out of the gate, as they rattled off a 10-2 run by the media timeout and extended the lead to 15-2 after Graziani hit a three at the 14:27 mark. However, the Fighting Knights responded with a furious 16-5 run over the next five minutes, cutting the NSU lead to 20-18 after a deuce from Sveinn Birgisson. The teams traded baskets, but the Sharks pushed the lead back to double digits, 36-26, on Graziani's jumper at the 6:56 mark. The Sharks then caught fire from beyond the arc to close the half, as they hit four three-pointers in the final 3:38 to push the lead past 20 points. Ryan Davis' three-pointer at the buzzer gave NSU a 60-36 lead at the break. Reeves' 21 points led the Sharks in the first half.

The Sharks went up 70-44 just before the under-16 media timeout of the second half on a bucket from Jaxon Nap. The Fighting Knights cut the deficit to 19 and later 15 points on a three-pointer from Christian Maxon at the 11:00 mark. The lead hovered between 15 and 20 points for the majority of the half, and NSU eclipsed the 100-point threshold on a layup from Eli Allen with 3:28 remaining. Allen's layup provided the final score for the Sharks as they closed the 105-94 victory. The Sharks tied their season-high with 16 made three-pointers on 31 attempts (52%), which tied their output from their road win at Tampa two games prior.
