FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Kaliyah Morales, Bridie McCann and Taydra Simpson each scored 18 points, and #9 Nova Southeastern routed Rollins 99-50 in the regular-season home finale in front of a raucous crowd. The Sharks held the Tars to just eight points in both the second and third quarters, as they earned their 24th win of the season.

The Sharks won the jumpball and immediately scored on the fastbreak, securing the early 2-0 lead. The Sharks' pressure forced consecutive turnovers in the backcourt, and Taydra Simpson converted an and-one to go up 10-4. Two throws from Bridie McCann gave them a 12-6 lead, but the Tars responded with an 8-2 spurt out of the media timeout, tying the game at 14 on a three-pointer from Claire Erickson. The Sharks closed the quarter with a three from McCann, a layup from Morales and another three from Simpson to take a 28-18 lead at the end of the first.
The Sharks went on a crucial run to open the second quarter, and they went up 38-18 on an and-one from Celeste Reed. A three-pointer from Morales on the ensuing possession pushed the lead to 42-18 and forced a Rollins timeout. The Sharks pushed the advantage to 49-18, capping the run on another jumper from Reed before the Tars finally broke their scoring drought with a three-pointer at the 5:01 mark. NSU's defense held steady, holding the Tars to only eight points in the quarter, and they took a 53-26 lead into the half.
The Sharks maintained a 60-30 advantage early in the third quarter after Simpson drilled another three-pointer, and took a 73-34 lead at the end of the period. Morales knocked down two free throws in the fourth quarter to give NSU a 40-point lead, 77-37, and the Sharks' reserves closed out the 99-50 victory.
