The Nova Southeastern University baseball team secured their first Sunshine State Conference series win over the Florida Tech Panthers in Melbourne.

- In the first game of the double header, the Sharks sent Nick Manning to the mound for the start.
- Nick Manning was in full control early in the outing, striking out two batters while allowing only a pair of base runners in his first two innings.
- In the top of the third inning, Anthony Stinson and Michael Arnold each singled with one out. With runners on first and third Nick Rodriguez lined a double to left field that brought in Anthony Stinson, giving the Sharks a 1-0 lead. Sebastian Garavito followed with a base hit to left field, bringing in both Michael Arnold and Nick Rodriguez, pushing the Sharks lead to 3-0.
- In the fourth inning, Roy Quevedo led off with a double where he advanced to third on an error by the right fielder. Jorge DeGoti lashed a base hit through the right side of the infield to bring in Roy Quevedo and take the Sharks lead to 4-0.
- Nick Manning continued his dominate work on the mound, striking out six consecutive batters through the third and fourth innings.
- Nick Manning finished off his start by completing the seventh inning. He allowed just one base runner after the second inning and held the Panthers off the scoreboard.
- Christopher Perez entered the game for the Sharks in the top of the eighth inning, where he struck out three batters and left the bases loaded.
- Christopher Perez remained in the game and recorded the final three outs, adding a strikeout to end the game, and securing the shutout for the Sharks in a 4-0 win.

- In game two of the double header, Federico Zapata took to the mound as the Sharks starter.
- The Panthers got the first runs of the game in the bottom of the third inning, totaling two runs on four hits as they took a 2-0 lead.
- In the top of the fourth Sebastian Garavito singled through the left side of the infield for a one out base hit, Roy Quevedo earned a walk with two outs in the inning before Jorge DeGoti cleared the bases with a three-run homerun (2), propelling the Sharks into the lead with a 3-2 score.
- Federico Zapata kept the Sharks ahead as he worked through the sixth inning, totaling three strikeouts after being given the lead.
- In the bottom of the seventh inning, Federico Zapata returned to the mound recording two outs in the frame and allowing a base hit before being relieved by Miguel Diaz. The Panthers pushed across the tying run with three runners reaching, evening the score at 3-3.
- The Sharks and Panthers remained tied through the ninth inning.
- In the tenth inning, Ty Torti entered the game as a pinch hitter and led off with a base hit where he advanced to third base on an error by the Panthers right fielder. Anthony Stinson was hit by a pitch to put runners on the corners with no outs. Both runners were able to advance on a wild pitch, as Ty Torti brought the lead back to the Sharks with a 4-3 score. Anthony Stinson then stole third base and came in to score on another wild pitch, giving the Sharks a 5-3 lead.
- The Panthers rallied in the bottom of the tenth, scoring two runs on two hits, and tying the game again at 5-5.
- In the top of the eleventh inning, Emilio Gonzalez worked a walk to lead off the frame, followed by a Roy Quevedo single to give the Sharks a pair of runners on with no outs. Dakota Jones delivered an RBI base hit to right field as Emilio Gonzalez scored and put the Sharks ahead 6-5.
- Ricky Gonzalez finished the game for the Sharks, as he recorded a perfect inning in the bottom of the eleventh, securing the final four outs needed for the Sharks 6-5 win.

- In the series finale the Sharks turned to the bullpen for the final game, starting Nyle Banks.
- Nyle Banks worked a scoreless first inning, stranding a pair of Panthers runners on base.
- Eduardo Echevarria came on in relief of Nyle Banks and worked a perfect bottom of the second.
- Eduardo Echevarria recorded the first out in the bottom of the third inning with a strikeout, before being lifted for Jonathan Fernandez-Andrew. The Panthers bats struck first as they totaled five runs on three hits, taking a 5-0 lead early in the contest.
- In the top of the sixth inning, Dakota Jones opened the inning with an opposite field base hit, Anthony Stinson took his place on the bases after hitting into a fielder's choice, Manny Ramirez Jr. slapped a base hit to right field to put runners on the corners with one out, Ty Torti put the Sharks on the scoreboard with an RBI base hit that brought in Anthony Stinson, cutting the deficit to 5-1.
- In the bottom of the seventh inning, the Panthers added to their lead by pushing across four runs on three hits, extending the lead to 9-1.
- The Sharks did not score in the final two innings, finishing the game with a 9-1 final score.
