DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Nova Southeastern Sharks took two of three games from Embry-Riddle in their penultimate road trip of the season.
Game 1

Game 1
- NSU wasted no time planting runs on the scoreboard with a 2 RBI double off the bat of Destiny Lewis.
- The Sharks tacked on another run in the third and fifth innings on a sacrifice fly from Aubrie Claverie that scored Abbey Moore in the third, and a Claverie RBI single that scored Gianna Russo.
- Embry-Riddle would not go down without a fight. Trailing 4-0 in the bottom of the fifth the Eagles mashed a bases-loaded double to left center scoring all three base runners cutting the deficit to just one.
- Down to its final out, ERAU managed to get a base runner in the seventh but Gracelyn Wallace induced a pop out to put the series opener in the books for the Sharks, 4-3.
- Wallace earned her 14th win of the season dealing seven innings and striking out six.
- Both Destiny Lewis and Aubrie Claverie had 2 RBI games.
Game 2

Game 2
- Both pitchers had some of their best stuff of the season only allowed three hits combined between the two teams.
- NSU threatened getting a runner to third after a pair of walks in the second but couldn't score the threat.
- The Sharks would collect their lone hit of the game in the third on a bunt single from Brianna Matthews.
- Both pitchers were perfect from innings four through six with neither allowing a base runner.
- The Eagles got a runner aboard in the bottom of the seventh on a NSU error, a sacrifice bunt and a ground out got the runner to third as just the second hit of the game for ERAU scored the game's only run in a walk-off win.
Game 3

Game 3
- The Sharks got the offense going early with Christina D'Agostino getting a first inning lead off single before being driven home two batters later on an Ana Richiez RBI single.
- NSU would tack on two more in the second as it was D'Agostino driving home the runs her second time around on a triple into left-centerfield to give the visitors a 3-0 advantage.
- Gracelyn Wallace kept Embry-Riddle at bay offensively buying time for the fifth inning where Ana Richiez hit NSU's lone long ball of the series to lead off the inning before the Sharks scored two more times later in the inning off an ERAU error and a wild pitch to lead the game 6-0.
- The Eagles would get a runner aboard in the seventh but it was much too little, too late as NSU held on for the shutout victory clinching the series.
- Gracelyn Wallace dealt another complete game shutout dealing seven innings striking out three.
- NSU collected 11 base hits in the game the most since March 3 against Flagler.
The Sharks return to NSU Softball Stadium for their final home series of the season against Florida Southern. The series is set to begin on Thursday, April 30 at 7 p.m. A doubleheader is scheduled to begin on Friday, May 1 at 4 p.m. with Senior Day ceremonies set to begin at 3:30 p.m. You can catch all the action on the SSC Digital Network.
