FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The Nova Southeastern University baseball team continued their hot streak by sweeping the Emmanuel College Lions in their final non-conference weekend series. The victories improved the Sharks' record to 19-12 overall and 8-7 in conference play, while extending their impressive nine-game winning streak.

- In the first game of the series, the Sharks got on the board quickly against Emmanuel. Nick Rodriguez doubled in the bottom of the first, and Michael Arnold followed with a single that advanced Rodriguez to third. Rodriguez came home on a passed ball, giving Nova Southeastern an early 1-0 lead.
- Emmanuel responded in the top of the second inning, as Aiden Malish doubled to drive in Nick Madrigal, tying the game at 1-1. The Sharks' offense stalled for the next few innings, leaving runners on base but unable to add to the lead.
- In the bottom of the sixth, Nova Southeastern capitalized on aggressive base running and careful at-bats. Michael Arnold was hit by a pitch, stole second, and moved to third on a passed ball. Sebastian Garavito followed with another hit-by-pitch, loading the bases. Dakota Jones then grounded out, bringing Arnold home and giving the Sharks a 2-1 advantage.
- Emmanuel threatened in the late innings, reaching base multiple times from the seventh through the ninth, but Nova Southeastern's pitching and defense held firm. Key strikeouts and smart defensive plays kept Emmanuel from mounting a comeback.
- The Sharks' balanced effort at the plate, paired with composed pitching and defensive execution, allowed Nova Southeastern to escape with a hard-fought 2-1 victory in the series opener.

- In the second game of the series, the Sharks turned to Miguel Diaz on the mound to get the start against Emmanuel (Ga.). Diaz worked efficiently through the early innings, keeping the Lions off balance and allowing just one unearned run through the first three frames.
- NSU jumped ahead in the bottom of the first inning when Nick Rodriguez was hit by a pitch and stole second base. He later scored on a wild pitch to give the Sharks an early 1-0 lead. Michael Arnold followed with a groundout to move runners, keeping the inning alive and NSU in control.
- The Sharks' offense exploded in the third inning. Anthony Stinson singled, followed by a walk to Roylan Quevedo that loaded the bases. A passed ball allowed Stinson to score, and back-to-back walks and a two-RBI single by Dakota Jones extended the lead to 5-0, giving NSU full momentum.
- Emmanuel responded in the top of the fourth inning, taking advantage of defensive miscues. Two unearned runs scored on a combination of errors and a sacrifice fly, narrowing the deficit to 5-3.
- Nova Southeastern answered immediately in the bottom half. Jack Cue launched a two-run homer to left-center, driving in Anthony Stinson and putting the Sharks back on top 7-3. NSU tacked on additional runs in later innings with aggressive baserunning and timely hitting, including Nick Rodriguez scoring on a wild pitch in the eighth and an RBI groundout by Nick Madrigal in the ninth.

- In the last game of the series, the Sharks got off to a strong start against Emmanuel (Ga.) behind solid pitching and timely hitting. The top of the first inning saw Emmanuel reach base but fail to score, while Nova Southeastern threatened with runners in scoring position after Nick Rodriguez singled and Michael Arnold reached on an error, though the Sharks left two men on base.
- NSU took the lead in the fourth inning. Dakota Jones doubled down the right-field line and scored on a sacrifice fly by Ty Torti, giving the Sharks a 1-0 advantage. The offense continued to roll in the fifth inning, highlighted by Michael Arnold's two-RBI single that plated both Jorge DeGoti and Nick Rodriguez, extending the lead to 3-1. Jack Cue and other timely hitters kept pressure on the Lions, forcing defensive miscues and advancing runners effectively.
- The Sharks added an insurance run in the eighth inning. After a series of walks, wild pitches, and a passed ball, JC Hernandez brought in Sebastian Garavito with an RBI groundout, putting NSU ahead 4-3. On the mound, Nova Southeastern's pitchers held Emmanuel scoreless from the sixth inning on, closing down any potential rally attempts and preserving the lead.
