AUSTIN, Tex. – After a historic first season at Nova Southeastern University, Jaxon Nap has been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team after excelling both on the court and in the classroom.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District Men's Basketball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes women's basketball honorees in four divisions – NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Nap is now considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot announced on April 14.

Nap led the team as the Sharks' big underneath the basket leading the team in rebounds, offensive rebounds and defensive rebounds. 

NSU advanced to its fourth straight Final Four after winning its fifth straight NCAA South Region Tournament and Sunshine State Conference Tournament.
