TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Nova Southeastern men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Florida State University Pre-Regional on Friday morning at Apalachee Regional Park, with the Sharks finishing 11th in the men's 8K and 11th in the women's 6K. 

The men's team totaled 310 points, recording a team time of 2:12:17.90 and an average time of 26:27.58. Andrew Youssef led the Sharks, finishing 41st overall with a time of 25:44.2, while Marc Gonzalez followed closely behind in 44th at 25:45.6. Marcus Tortorella placed 60th in 26:10.2, followed by Santiago Lara in 113th at 27:10.2 and Seth Roque-Munoz in 121st at 27:27.7. 

On the women's side, Nova Southeastern finished 11th with 287 points, posting a team time of 1:56:09.50 and an average time of 23:13.90. Isabella Grant paced the Sharks, finishing 43rd overall in 22:51.0. Jordan Stygar followed in 51st at 22:59.5, while Alayna Stewart placed 55th in 23:02.7. Jillian Thorning finished 81st at 23:35.0, and Briel Bechen rounded out the scoring five in 88th at 23:41.3. Lauren Blyth also finished among the Sharks' top runners, placing 92nd in 23:48.9.
