MONTEVALLO, AL – The Nova Southeastern men's soccer team overcame an early two-goal deficit, scoring three unanswered goals to defeat Montevallo 3-2 on Thursday evening at Amerant Bank Field at NSU Soccer Stadium. Erik Krohnstad recorded a first-half brace to erase the Falcons' advantage before Markus Rokseth delivered the game-winning goal in the 86th minute to complete the comeback for the Sharks.

• Montevallo struck quickly, taking a 1-0 lead in the third and 19th minute when Luis Billep and Joaquin Wladdimiro found the back of the net following an early Falcons attack.
• Nova Southeastern answered in the 33rd minute when
Erik Krohnstad scored his first goal of the season, cutting the deficit to 2-1 and shifting momentum toward the Sharks.
• Krohnstad struck again less than seven minutes later, finding the equalizer in the 39th minute to send the match into halftime tied at 2-2.
• With less than five minutes remaining,
Markus Rokseth delivered the decisive moment of the match, scoring in the 86th minute to give the Sharks the victory 3-2.
Nova Southeastern returns to action on Saturday, September 12, at 7 p.m. when the Sharks take on Florida Tech to open Sunshine State Conference play at Amerant Bank Field at NSU Soccer Stadium.
