AS A JUNIOR (2011)
Started 13 games and made 18 appearance…Led the team with 94 strikeouts and held opposing batters to a .245 average… Won five games and held a 4.92 ERA…Had a team-best two shutouts, Once against Rollins (3/16) and the other against Palm Beach Atlantic (4/23)…In his seven-inning shutout of Rollins, he struck out 10 batters and held the Tars to four hits…In his seven-inning shutout of PBA, he struck out a season-best 11 batters and only allowed three hits…In the seven games that the Sharks played against SSC Champions Barry, Tighe made four appearances, pitched 16 innings, averaged 1.5 strikeouts per inning and held the Bucs to a .213 batting average.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2010)
Tied for the team lead with 23 appearances... Made two starts... Was 4-5 with two saves in 36.2 innings pitched... Had a 4.91 earned run average... Struck out 48 batters... Had five consecutive scoreless appearances from (3/20/10) to (3/27/10)... Struck out four batters without allowing a hit in three innings pitched vs. Rollins (3/27/10)... Struck out the side at Barry (4/9/10)... Struck out seven batters in his second career start, allowing two earned runs in five innings against Lynn (5/8/10).

CAREER
Transferred to NSU from Indian River CC...Played four years of baseball at South Fork High School under head coach Mike Harper.
