AS A JUNIOR (2010-11)
On the first day at the All-Florida Invitational Grundstrom was the best male Shark in the 1,650-yard free finishing 13th with a time of 16:34.16(10/1/10)…During the Sharks victory over Florida Southern Grundstrom recorded the top time in the 1000-yard free (9:48.03)(10/16/10)…Grundstrom was named the swimming and diving Councilman Hunsaker Division II Men’s National Swimmer of the Week for the week ending Oct. 24. The honor came after he was selected as the Sunshine State Conference Men’s Swimmer of the Week…Dueling with Florida Atlantic Grundstrom finished fifth at 10:08.97 in the 1000-yard freestyle (10/29/10)…Against Rollins, in the 1,650-yard free, Grundtrom set a then season-best time of 16:28.15 (11/6/10)…Grundstrom clocked a 4:51.89 in the 500-yard free to finish a close second to fellow Shark Ospina (4:50.61) against Rollins (11/6/10)…At the Sharks Invitational he posted a NCAA “B” provisional qualifying time in the 500-yard freestyle relay with a time of 4:41.73 (12/16/10)…Grundstrom also finished second in the 1,650-yard freestyle with another NCAA “B” qualifying time of 16:15.37 (12/16/10)…Normally a distance specialists, Grundstrom showed his versatility posting a NCAA “B” qualifying time of 1:55.17 in the 200-yard butterfly (12/16/10)…Grundstrom set a school record with a 15:45.48 in the 1,650-yard free at the SSC Championship (2/17/11)…During the NCAA Division II Swimming Championships he touched at 15:45.70 to finish 11th out of 17 in the 1,650-yard freestyle earning six points for the Sharks.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL
Swam for two years at the University of New Orleans… Currently holds the school records in the 200y butterfly and the 1000y freestyle.

CLUB EXPERIENCE
Swam for the Vasteras SS Club… In 2009 led his team to a National championship and a Junior National championship in 2006… Also swam at Tessinskolan High School in Sweden for three years. 

PERSONAL
His most memorable athletic achievement was winning the 400y freestyle at 2006 Junior Nationals in Landskrona… Lists Jake Gyllenhaal as his favorite actor and Alexander Popov as his favorite professional athlete… His favorite sports teams are the Santa Fe Giants and the New Orleans Saints… Son of Lavs-lnge and Marita Grundstrom and has one brother Joel.
