AS A JUNIOR (2010-11)
Most successful meet of the season came against Saint Leo, where he posted a second place finish (4:59.12) in the 500-yard freestyle as well as, a third place finish (10:14.80) in the 1,000-yard freestyle. Also had a third place finish at the Carleton and Kalamazoo meet with a time of 10:14.80. Biggest contribution of the season may have come in the SSC Championship meet where he placed fifth in the 1,650 –yard freestyle, shedding 38.1 seconds off from his first meet of the season. 

PREVIOUS SCHOOL
Swam for two years at the University of New Orleans.

HIGH SCHOOL
Swam at Everett High School for four years… His senior season he was named Most Valuable Swimmer, honoree of the High Point award and served as captain… He was a member of the National Honor Society.

PERSONAL
A pre-medical studies major… His favorite food is lasagna and his favorite vacation spot is Vancouver, Canada… His favorite movie is The Goods and his favorite television show is listed as Psych… Son of John and Julie Tarr… Has a brother, Brian and a sister, Kelsey.
