AS A JUNIOR (2012-13)
Bransford earned All-American honors in the 800-yard freestyle relay; and was named an Honorable mention All-American in the 400-yard medley relay. She was also named to the Sunshine State Conference second-team. At the SSC championships, Bransford took home her first individual title in the 200-yard breastroke with a time of 2:17.53. She came in fifth in the 100-yard breastroke with a time of 1:05.09. She came in eighth in the 200-yard individual medley with times of 2:09.38.She was also part of the 200 and 400 medley relays and the record-setting 800-yard freestyle relay that claimed first-place. At the Shark Invitational, she came in third and sixth in the 200 and 100-yard breaststroke with times of 2:23.90 and 1:07.74.  

AS A SOPHOMORE (2011-12) 
Honored as an All-American in the 800-freestyle relay and an received All-American Honorable Mention in the 400- freestyle relay...Awared First Team All-SSC... swam at the All-Florida Invite (10/7-9/2011  ) she swam the 200-yard breaststroke finishing 16th with a time of 2:31.67... In the 200-yard freestyle, she claimed the win in the women’s race with a time of 1:56.15, against Tampa (12/3/2011)  …she stepped in as one of the top contenders for the final as she qualified with a B-cut time of 2:24.59 in the 200- breast at the NSU Shark Invitational (12/16-19/2011 ) …Placed third in the 200-yard breast at Grand Valley State (1/2/2012) … Swam in the Division II NCAA Championships she finished with a time of 2:21.03 in the 200- breast and was part of the 800-free relay that placed sixth with an NSU record of 7:30.94.


PREVIOUS SCHOOL
Competed at a national level for Aruba for three years before coming to Nova… Holds National records in the 50m,100m, 200m breastroke, the 50m and 100m fly, 50m and 100m free, and the 200m IM… She was a 2008 Swimming Federations Swimmer of the Year honoree and qualified for the 2011 Pan American Games. 

CLUB EXPERIENCE
Swam for the Stingray Swimming club team and was honored as the 2007, 2008 and 2009 Female Swimmer of the Year. 

PERSONAL
A marine biology/biology major… Her most memorable athletic achievement is when she swam at the World Championships in Rome and qualifying for the Pan American Games with a time of 1:13 in the 100y backstroke… Her favorite foods are listed as ribs, seafood and pizza… Denzel Washington is her favorite actor and Kirsty Coventry is her favorite professional athlete… Daughter of Keith Bransford and Maureen Croes… Has three siblings in Jordy, Derek and Partick.
