Honored as an All-American in the 500-freestyle,1000-freestyle,1650-freestyle, and the 400-individual medley...Against Rollins (11/5/2011) placed second in the 100- yard freestyle (48.83). …he clocked in behind with a time of 9:43.41, breaking the B-cut time by two seconds at Tampa(12/3/2011 )
… Swimming at the NSU Shark Invitational (12/16-19/2011) finaled in 200-yard backstroke and placed 2nd in the 1650 -yard freestyle…Against Florida Southern (1/21/2012) he held the third slot in the 1650-free with a time of 16:22.93.. At the SSC Championships he accumulated 57 total points on the leader board...Swimming at the Division II NCAA Championships he swam the 500-free to place second with a time of 4:23.20 and fourth in the 1000-free with a time of 9:07.26 and swam in the timed finals for the 1650-free finishing with a time of 15:36.38 to place seventh.

At the SSC Championships swam the 200-fly, finishing in a time of 1:52.87… At the last chance quad meet with Saint Leo, Rollins and Miami On the men’s side, Pombo picked up a NCAA B-cut time in the 100-yard freestyle, finishing at 46.95… Swam at the Division II NCAA Championships in the 100 yard freestyle. |
