AS A JUNIOR (2012-13)
At the SCC championships, he came in ninth in the 400-yard individual medley with a time of 4:04.50...Also came in seventh in the 200-yard breastroke with a time of 2:07.22. 

AS A SOPHMORE (2011-12)
Key placed fourth in the 500-freestyle at Saint Leo with a time of 5:05.81...Against Rollins was part of the 4--medley relay athat placed third with a time of 3:43.48 and was fourth in the 400-individual medley with a time of 4:23.51  was second in the 200- breaststroke at Tampa (12/3/2011) … Placed second in the 200- breast at Indian River & Florida International University (11/12/2011). ..At the SSC Championships he posted personal best times in the 100 and 200 breastroke posting times of 59.84 and 2:07.49 and the 200 and 400 individual medleys posting times of 1:55.28 and 4:07.12.

AS A FRESHMAN (2010-11)
As a member of NSU’s 400-yard medley  C relay team Key contributed to a third-place finish time of 3:38.61(10/16/10)…In the 1000-yard free Key touched with a fourth-place time of 10:18.95 (10/16/10)…Competing against Rollins, Key finished third  in the 200-yard freestyle (1:50.62) (11/6/10)…At the SSC Championship Key posted a “B” qualifying time of 2:08.46 for fifth-place in the 200-yard breaststroke (2/17/11).

HIGH SCHOOL
Swam at Carolina Day School for four years… Currently holds eleven school records, four conference records, one county record and one state record… Was the state champion in the 100y breaststroke and runner up in the 500y freestyle... Voted as Waynesville North Carolina Male Swimmer of the Year and named All-Conference Swimmer of the Year… His senior season he was a four time MVP and served as captain of his team.

CLUB EXPERIENCE
Swam for the Youth Waynesville North Carolina Piranhas club team… Competed in seven individual Youth National long course events… He was a National short course qualifier in five individual events and four relay events.

PERSONAL
Criminal Justice major… Lists his favorite food as pizza and his favorite type of movies is action… Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte are his favorite professional athletes… Some of his hobbies include scuba diving, airsoft, video games and playing guitar… Son of Jonathan and Barbara Key and has one brother, Thomas.
