AS A JUNIOR (2012-13)
At the SCC championships, placed eighth in the 500-yard freestyle with a B cut time of 4:38.14...Placed fifth in the 1,650-yard freestyle with a time of 15:52.32...Placed second at Indian River in the 1,650-yard freestyle with a time of 16:42.57...Swimming at Tampa, came in third in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 9:58.17...At the Shark Invitational, came in 11th in the 500-yard freestyle and seventh in the 1,650-yard freestyle with a time of 16:11.66. 

AS A SOPHOMORE (2011-12) 
Norris placed third in the 1650-freestyle with a time of  (16:39.04) against  Indian River & Florida International University (11/12/2011 ))))))) ) he would round out the times for the Sharks at 2:07.68, for sixth place in the 200 yard butterfly… At Florida Southern (1/21/2012  ) he  claimed second with a finishing time of 4:44.63 in the 500 yard freestyle… Swimming at the SSC Championships (2/15-18/2012  )  placed fifth with a time  of 15:58.15 in the 1650 –yard freestyle. 

AS A FRESHMAN (2010-11)
In the 1000-yard free in a meet against Florida Southern Norris finished second with a time of 10:07.14 (10/16/10)…In the 1,650-yard free he finished second at 16:58.79 against Rollins (11/6/10)…In the 500-yard free he finished in third (4:57.51) against Rollins (11/6/10)…Finished fourth at 10:11.15 in the 1000-yard free against Florida International and Florida Atlantic (1/29/11)…During the 2011 SSC Championships (2/15-18/2012 ))     .) He competed in the 500-free with a best time of 4:38.02 , and swam the 1000- free with another best time of 9:31.57, and finished third in the 1,650-yard free with a time of 15:59.54.

HIGH SCHOOL
Swam for four years at Lawton Chiles High School... His senior year he finished first at districts in the 500y freestyle and in the 200y freestyle… At regional’s he finished second in the 500y freestyle and third in the 200y freestyle… At the state meet he came in seventh in the 500y freestyle and thirteenth in the 200y freestyle… He was a three-time Most Valuable Player and All-Big Bend First-Team, All-Big Bend Swimmer of the Year his senior season and given the Athletic Scholar Award… He was also given the AP Scholar Award and graduated Cum Laude. 

CLUB EXPERIENCE
Swam for the Area Tallahassee Aquatic club team… In 2009 qualified for the Southern Zone Sectional in the 200y, 400y, 800y, and 1500y freestyle… Led his team to the Senior Championship Finalists from 2007-09. 

PERSONAL
A biology major… Lists ice cream as his favorite food and Panama City Beach as his favorite vacation spot… Dumb and Dumber is his favorite movie and Lost is his favorite show… Will Farrell is his favorite actor and Ryan Lochte is his favorite professional athlete… His hobbies include playing the bass guitar and fishing… Son of Gerry and Karen Norris… Has two sisters Katie and Karla.
