AS A SOPHMORE (2010-11)
At the inaugural Sunshine State swimming and diving championship Pfahler contributed to a fourth-place finish in the 800-yard relay, with a time of 6:54.73 (2/18/11)...In the 100-yard he posted a personal best, NCAA “B” qualifying time of 0:58.46 at the SSC Championship (2/19/11)...At the SSC Championship Pfahler posted a 2:10.83 in the 200-yard breaststroke to finish eighth (2/20/11).

PREVIOUS SCHOOL
Swam for a season at the University of Florida.

HIGH SCHOOL
Swam for three years at Duncan U. Fletcher High School under head coach Bob Anderson… His senior season he was a state finalist in the 100y breaststroke, an All-Conference Selection and served as team captain… He posted a time of 59.8 in the 100y breaststroke and a 1:59.2 in the 200y individual medley… During his career he had also qualified for state in the 200y individual medley and 100y breaststroke and was voted most improved of his team… Was a Scholastic All-American, National Honor Society Treasurer and Class Salutatorian.

CLUB EXPERIENCE
Swam for the Episcopal AmerJax club team… Was the senior champions event winner for the 200y breaststroke… Qualified for the Winter Junior Nationals and NCSA… Posted his best times of a 1:07.93 in the 100y breaststroke, 2:27.94 in the 200m breaststroke, 59.36 in the 100y butterfly and a 2:14.13 in the 200m individual medley.

PERSONAL
A psychology major… Lists pasta as his favorite food and enjoys writing as a hobby… His favorite show is Seinfeld and Eric Shanteau is his favorite professional athlete… Son of Randy and Susan Pfahler.
