AS A SENIOR (2016)
Competed in the discus, hammer and shot put…Claimed fifth in the hammer at the Peach Belt Conference Championship with a personal-best 38.20m…Finished eighth in the shot put with 11.01m, Nyiro’s seasons-best was at the UCF Invitational with 11.15m…Had a seasons-best in the discus at the UCF Invitational with 35.52m.

AS A JUNIOR (2015)
Nyiro participated in six events...Hit a career-long mark in the shot put at 11.17m in the Miami Hurricane Alumni Invitational, taking eight overall...Also hit a new career-best in the hammer throw at 35.82m, finishing eighth at the Peach Belt Conference Championship. 

AS A SOPHOMORE (2014)
Nyiro participated in six events…Threw a season best 29.93-meters in the discus throw… Strongest hammer throw of the season was 29.93m...Season best shot put throw of 10.79m…Best performance in the javelin was 25.07m.

AS A FRESHMAN (2013)
At the Peach Belt Conference Championships, Nyiro competed in the all the throwing events...In the discus throw, she came in fifth with a throw of 33.26-meters...She was sixth in the hammer throw with a throw of 29.46-meters...She was eighth in the javelin throwing 23.76-meters...She was seventh in the shot put with a throw of 10.06-meters...She held the school record in the discus throw at season's end. 

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Competed in track and field and volleyball at Valparaiso HS...Was a sectional champion in 2012 and a regional qualifier all four seasons... Had career-best marks of 117'9" in the discus and 32'4" in the shotput...Graduated with honors.

PERSONAL
Biology major...Her most memorable moment was setting a NSU record as a freshman...Pitch Perfect, Bridesmaids, and The Proposal are her favorite movies...Alex Morgan is her favorite athlete and the Chicago Cubs are her favorite sports team...Daughter of Herb and Di Nyiro
