AS A JUNIOR (2013)
Was a key runner on a Sharks team that claimed third in the Sunshine State Conference...Recorded his best 8K time of 26:10 at the Florida State Invitational...That time ranked 13th all time in program history at the end of the season...At regionals, Gonzalez was one second behind the all-region cutoff, claiming 26th place with a time of 34:24.90.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Competed for one semester at Pima CC under head coach Greg Wenneborg...Was named an NJCAA All-American in indoor track and field...NJCAA All-American in the outdoor 1500m...Was a three-sport athlete at Buena HS under head coach Cheryl McGargy.
