PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Comes to NSU after two seasons at NCAA DI Drexel, where he was a red-shirt freshman before appearing in just two games in his last season, collecting two points and one rebound in four minutes of action...As a senior at Youngstown (Ohio) Christian HS, Carroll played for his father, Dolph, a former junior college head coach in Arizona and a long-time assistant coach at DI Youngstown State...In 2009-10, Carroll’s senior season at Youngstown Christian, he averaged 18.2 points and 9.5 rebounds, leading his team to a 22-2 record and the Ohio Division IV regional final...Carroll was named Northeast Inland District Player of the Year and first team all-state by the Associated Press...Following graduation from Youngstown Christian, Carroll enrolled at Kiski Prep School in Saltsburg, Pa., where he averaged 21 points, 12.5 rebounds and 3 blocked shots during the 2010-11 season.
