AS A SENIOR (2016-17)
Wahlstrom was named SSC Swimmer of the Year for women this season…At the NCAA Championships, Wahlstrom claimed a national title in the 200-yard Freestyle (1:46.81), 2nd in 500-yard Freestyle (4:46.87), 3rd in the 100-yard Freestyle (50.10), and 11th in 100-yard backstroke (56.15)…Assisted with the 800-yard Freestyle Relay (7:22.72) 3rd place finish, the 400-yard Medley Relay (3:42.59) 4th place finish and the 400-yard Freestyle Relay 7th place finish with a time of 3:23.95…At the SSC Championships, Wahlstrom claimed the title to the 200-yard Freestyle (1:47.75), 100-yard Backstroke (54.62) and the 500-yard Freestyle (4:52.20). Placed 2nd in the 200-yard Backstroke…Assisted all of her relays to a 1st place finish: Women’s 400-yard Medley Relay (3:44.39); Women’s 800-yard Freestyle Relay (7:26.39); Women’s 400-yard Freestyle Relay (3:24.43)…Wahlstrom qualified for the 200 Freestyle with a time of 1:52.36 at the FIU Tri-Meet against Florida International. At the Home Tri-Meet against Indianapolis and Rollins, Wahlstrom posted provisionally qualifying times to win the women’s 100 Freestyle (51.37), 200 Freestyle (1:51.93), and 500 Freestyle (4:58.70) events.

AS A JUNIOR (2015-16)
Had the following finishes at NCAA Championships: third in the 200-yard freestyle (1:48.26); seventh in the 500-yard freestyle (4:56.14); ninth as part of the 800-yard freestyle relay (7:30.25); 10th as part of the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:34.50); 10th in the 400-yard medley relay (3:47.81); 11th in the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:26.38); 14th in the 200-yard backstroke (2:01.81)…Received the following honors: 200-yard freestyle All-American; 500-yard freestyle All-American; 200-yard freestyle relay All-American Honorable Mention; 400-yard medley relay All-American Honorable Mention; 800-yard freestyle relay All-American Honorable Mention; 200-yard backstroke All-American Honorable Mention; 400-yard freestyle relay All-American Honorable Mention…Named to the All-SSC First Team…Took the following finishes at SSC Championships: first in the 200-back (2:01.31); second in the 100-yard backstroke (56.13) with a personal best time; fifth in the 50-yard freestyle (23.71) with a personal best time; and second in the 200-free (1:50.74)…Named SSC Swimmer of the Week after combining for four first-place finishes and three NCAA B-Standard times against Limestone and Florida Southern…Set career best times in the following: 100-yard freestyle (51.50) 200-free (1:47.89) and 500-free (4:54.90) at NCAAs…Had these additional top finishes during the regular season: first in the 50-free (24.62) versus Rollins; first in the 100-free (51.82) against Indian River State; first in the 200-free (1:51.76) and 500-free (5:03.59) versus Limestone; and first in the 100-back (58.15) and 200-back (2:06.12) against Lynn…Earned 11 first-place finishes during the regular season including four in the 200-free…Chosen by her coaches as the team’s “Ultimate Shark”.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2014-15)
Named to the All-SSC Second Team…Claimed the following finishes and honors at NCAA Championships: sixth in the 200-yard freestyle (1:49.64); 200-yard medley relay All-American; 200-yard freestyle relay All-American; 200-yard freestyle All-American…Named to the 2015 Spring SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll…Took the following at SSC Championships: first in the 200-free (1:48.93); third in the 100-yard backstroke (56.15); third in the 200-yard backstroke (2:01.43); and 12th in the 50-yard freestyle (24.18)…Broke SSC Championship meet records as part of the 200-free relay (1:33.05), 400-free relay (3:24.71) and 800-free relay (7:22.67) teams that came in first…Set the overall conference records in the 200-free relay (1:32.93), 800-free relay (7:22.67) and 400-medley relay (3:45.51) teams…Set school records as part of the 200-free, 400-free, 800-free and 200-medley relay teams…Put up career best times in the 50-yard backstroke (26.59) at NCAA Championships and 200-back (2:01.30) at SSC Championships…25 first-place regular season finishes including four in the 100-free, five in the 100-back and six in the 200-back.

AS A FRESHMAN (2013-14)
Competed in three individual finals at the 2014 Sunshine State Conference Championship and set personal best marks in all of them…Claimed third place overall in the 200-yard backstroke event at conference…Claimed eighth place overall in the 100-yard backstroke event at conference…In the B Final, claimed second in the 50y free event at conference.

High School
Attended Kungstensgymnasiet (2009-2013), where she swam for Coach Stefan Nystrand and also played golf.
 
Club Experience
Swam for Sparvagen Sim under Nystrand, as well… She has won nine Swedish Youth National Medals and one Junior National medal.

Personal
Born in Stockholm, Sweden… Majoring in Business Administration... Daughter of Anders Wahlstrom and Marie Fritzell… She has four siblings Martin, Peter, Ella, and Nils… Her most memorable athletic achievement was when she won her first Swedish National Medal… Favorite movie is Shawkshank Redemption… Favorite athlete is Zlatan Ibrahimovic... Favorite actor is Denzel Washington... Favorite vacation spot is Thailand... Listens to Swedish House Mafia before she races.
