AS A JUNIOR (2016)
Made two appearances in relief for the NCAA Division II National Champion Sharks… Pitched a scoreless inning with one strikeout on Opening Night against Tusculum (1/29) and another scoreless inning with two strikeouts in a 16-1 victory over American International (3/9).


SUMMER 2015
Played with the Florida Legends, coached by Carlos Marti who made the Connie Mack World Series in 2012 and won the Southeast Region… Teammates with three former Sharks in NSU Baseball’s single-season home run record holder and 17^th round pick in the 2015 draft Justin Garcia, 25^th round pick Ryan Castellanos, and Colton Rogers.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL
Three-year letterwinner at Florida International University under Turtle Thomas… Played two seasons with current Sharks teammate Antonio Rodriguez, with whom he was also high school teammates… Also played one season with Brandon Gomez, a fellow member of the 2015 recruiting class… Made 17 appearances for the Panthers in 2013, starting twice… Recorded a season-high five strikeouts against 10 batters in 2.1 scoreless innings vs. Texas Tech (2/25)… Made his first career vs. South Florida (3/13), and threw six shutout innings, allowing two hits with four strikeouts…Finished his freshman season with 29 strikeouts in 38.2 innings… Redshirted the 2014 season… Returned from injury to make six appearances in 2015… 2.84 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and .217 opponent average in 6.1 innings pitched with seven strikeouts to two walks.

HIGH SCHOOL
Played for Phillip Wisser at Coral Gables Senior HS in Coral Gables, Fla., alongside his younger brother, Ryan, a fellow member of the 2015 recruiting class, in his senior year… Established himself as a two-way player… Pitched 78 innings as a senior, with a 9-2 record, seven complete games, 1.13 ERA and 66 strikeouts to earn the HSBN District Pitcher of the Year award… Threw a no-hitter against Hialeah Gardens in the regional quarterfinal game that season, to lead the team to a district championship… All-County First Team utility by the Miami Herald, All-District by HSBN, and Florida All-Region Honorable Mention by Perfect Game… Named MVP of the team and Academic Athlete of the Year for his efforts… Totaled 65 career RBI at the plate, with two home runs and a .350 average… 2011 All-County and Underclass Honorable Mention by the Herald and Perfect Game, respectively.
