Played with the South Florida Elite Squad throughout his high school career… Began by playing under the late Sergio Ambros, who also served as his high school head coach at West Broward… Hit .326 with a .498 on-base percentage after his junior year for Coach Jose Piedra on the 17u TPX team.

HIGH SCHOOL
Attended West Broward HS, where he was teammates for four years with pitcher Anthony DiFede, a fellow member of the 2015 recruiting class… Hit .466 and got on base at a .516 clip, while stealing 12 bases in his junior year, to earn unanimous All-County Second Team status at shortstop by HSBN, the Miami Herald and Sun-Sentinel… On the Sentinel’s Preseason All-County list entering his senior season… Held a .388 on-base percentage for the season and was named an All-County Third Team shortstop by the Herald and All-Region Honorable Mention by Perfect Game.
