Biography

AS A JUNIOR (2018)
Did not compete in junior season.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2017)
Had a stellar sophomore season competing in the decathlon, javelin, long jump and triple jump…Broke his school record while earning a silver medal in the decathlon at the Peach Belt Conference Championship with 5803 points…Horn set personal-bests in five of the ten events, the 110m hurdles, discus, 400m dash, shot put and pole vault…Placed fourth in the javelin at the PBC with a career-best 50.33m…Set a personal-best in the triple jump at the Miami Alumni Invitational at 12.72m…A week later, Horn broke the school record in the long jump at the South Florida University Invitational with a personal-best 6.87m.

AS A FRESHMAN (2016)
Recognized as an All-Region Honoree for the decathlon by USTFCCCA…Competed in the decathlon, long jump, high jump and the javelin for the sharks…claimed fifth in the decathlon with 5,425 points and javelin with a personal-best 48.67m at the Peach Belt Conference Championship…Best high jump mark was 1.78m at the Sharks Invitational…Set a best leap of 6.60m in the long jump at the Sharks Invitational.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Participated in the football and track and field teams at Leo Junior Senior HS…His high school coach was Ryan Waybright…During his high school career he broke his school’s long jump and 4x1 record and his conference long jump record…Was three times conference champion and five times meet MVP…Also obtained the football all-conference honors…Participated in club team Fort Wayne Express for Coach Terry Milton…At the club level he was regional long jump champion and two times junior Olympic qualifier.
