Named Lee County All-Conference and pitched in the Bartley's Senior All-Star Game... Graduated summa cum laude with a 4.75 GPA... Played travel ball for the 2014 USSSA World Champion FTB Mizuno, under Trevor Berryhill.

PERSONAL
Son  of Trent and Rene Van Horn... Has two older sisters: Taylor, who was a four-year member of the Nova Southeastern Sharks rowing team from 2011-2014, winning a national championship with the V8 team as a junior and three Sunshine State Conference titles; and Payton, who played soccer for the Sharks as a freshman in 2012 before transitioning to rowing for two years, teamming up with her sister on the SSC champion squad as a sophomore in 2014... Exercise & Sports Science major... Most memorable athletic achievement is winning the district championship as a senior... Gameday rituals include chewing gum while he pitches and getting the mound just right every time he goes out to it... Participates in community service clinics at his local baseball field... Chose NSU for the academics and baseball team... Most influential people are his parents, because he wouldn't be where he is or half the man he is without them.
