AS A FRESHMAN [2017]
Earned starts in all 51 games in her first year for the Sharks… finished with a .281 batting average, third best on the team, and a team-high 364 putouts at first base… tallied 36 hits in 128 at bats and had 16 RBI… scored 20 runs and had a .406 slugging percentage… had homeruns in back-to-back games during THE Spring Games in Clermont, Fla…. went 2-for-3 with three RBI, a triple and a homer in an 18-2 win over Southern Conn. State (Mar. 16)… was 3-for-3 with two RBI and the other homerun against California University (Penn.) (Mar. 16)… named to the 2017 Spring Commissioner's Honor Roll.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Competed for the Gateway Panthers in softball for four years, soccer for two and weightlifting for one, all at the varsity level… boasted a .673 batting average and was named Most Valuable Player in her senior season on the softball team… earned a spot on the Orange Belt Conference First Team twice… was named team captain for three years in a row… earned the coaches award as a freshman and sophomore… played club for the Stealers West Gold and was named team captain.  
 
PERSONAL
Plans to major in exercise and sports science… looks up to her mother, Marilyn Hernandez, because she has always pushed her for the better and without her support she wouldn't be attending her dream school… favorite television show is Friends and movie is Twilight… favorite athlete is Clay Matthews and team is the Green Bay Packers… enjoy eating any Italian food and vacationing in the Bahamas.
