AS A SENIOR (2017)
Named All-Region Honoree and All-SSC second team for placing in the Top-20 or better at the Sunshine State Conference and NCAA South Regional Championships…Ran in all six races in his last year as a Shark…Had a breakout second half of the season finishing as the top-runner for the Sharks in the last three races including the SSC and Regional Championships…Placed third individually at the FLRUNNERS.COM Invitational…Top 5k time was 16:33.3 at the FAU Invitational...Best 8k time was accomplished as the SSC Championship, 26:39.9 and ran 33:56.1 in the 10 at the Regional Championship.

AS A JUNIOR (2016) – Represented the Sharks four 8k races and in the 10k at the South Regional Championship…Ran a personal best in the 8k at the Sunshine State Conference Championship clocking in at 26:13.10.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2016)
Was crowned as and SSC Fall Commissioner Honor Roll member for his outstanding academic standing…Participated in a total of six events for the Sharks, including the NCAA Regional tournament…Set his best finish at the FAU Invitational 5k by placing eighth overall with a time of 16.13…Recorded an impressive time of 35:34 at the Regional Championships 10k competition.

AS A FRESHMAN (2015)
Competed in seven events in his first year with the Sharks, in events ranging from the 800m run to the 5K...Ran the 1,500m run at the Peach Belt Championship and placed 27th...His best 1,500m run came at the Miami Hurricane Alumni Invitational at 4:12.81, taking 12th place...Posted his best 5K time at UCF with a finish of 16:03.33, taking 10th overall.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Multiple sport athlete at Waiakea HS…Competed in track and field, cross country and basketball…Also ran for the Sunrise Athletics club under Coach MJ Tominaga.

Majoring in sports and exercise science…Names Kobe Bryant as his favorite professional athlete and both the Los Angeles Lakers and the San Antonio Spurs as his favorite sports teams…Enjoys listening to music, playing basketball and exercising in his free time…Son of Grant and Emma McQuate.
