Biography
AS A SENIOR (2018-19)
Consistent coxswain for the Sharks varsity four throughout the season, earning second place at the Sunshine State Conference Championships, completing a hard-fought comeback to cross the line at 7:40.00, helping the Sharks to a third-place team finish… Earned the silver medal in Division II fours at the FIRA Championships at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, finishing in a time of 7:51.59 as well as a fifth place 8:05.95 that edged ahead of Tampa at the last second of a hard-fought finish in the FIRA lightweight four… Collected a sixth-place varsity four finish in 8:06.40 at the SIRA Championships in Oak Ridge, Tenn… Closed out the season helping the varsity four row to a heat-winning 8:35.643 at the Jefferson Dad Vail, overcoming a bumpy start to finish fourth in a very fast 7:19.139.
AS A JUNIOR (2017-18)
Served as the coxswain for a number of varsity four boats throughout the season...Started with the third varsity four that raced at the Head of Indian Creek (17:23.00)…Raced with the second varsity eight and third varsity four placing sixth and third respectively…Finished third with the varsity four boat at the Central Sprints (8:04.00) as well as the Division II boat the FIRA Championship (8:03.80)…Also placed fourth with the varsity four at UCF (7:50.44), SIRA Championship (7:54.09) Sunshine State Conference Championship (7:35.57) and Dad Vail Regatta (7:53.14).
AS A SOPHOMORE (2016-17)
Served as the coxswain for the varsity and junior varsity four boats throughout the season…Placed first with the exhibition four at the Sunshine State Conference Championship with a time of 8:01.62, 21 seconds before the runner up, Florida Tech …Finished second with the junior varsity eight (7:22.30) and third with the lightweight four (8:27.90) at the FIRA Championship…Raced with the varsity four that finished fourth at UCF crossing the finish line at 8:15.60.
AS A FRESHMAN (2015-16)
Took third as coxswain in her first-ever 2k with the novice eight at the UCF Regatta with a time of 8:03.57…Claimed a second-place finish just behind the University of Florida in the frosh/novice eight race at FIRA Championships…Earned fourth in the frosh/novice four race at FIRA Championships coming in at 8:09.60…Part of the frosh/novice four that advanced to the semi-final at the Dad Vail Regatta and came in third place in 8:18.05.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Was a two-sport athlete at Hollywood Hills High School, playing basketball and flag football for two years...Top six percent in the nation for speech and debate, national qualifier in the Catholic Forensic League, semi finalist in the Florida Forensic League Tournament and Silver Knight nominee.

Majoring in exercise and sport science...daughter of Maynor and Modesta Pinell... Relay for Life participant...favorite movie is Forrest Gump...favorite professional athlete is Muggsy Bogues...enjoys playing the trumpet.
