AS A JUNIOR (2018)
Selected as All-South Region Honoree in the hammer…Competed in the hammer and the shotput in her third season with the Sharks…Repeated as the hammer throw champion at the Peach Belt Conference Championship with a throw of 48.53m…Set a personal-best and school record in the hammer at the Miami Hurricane Invitational at 49.26m…Threw a season-best 12.95m in the shotput at the PBC Championship, placing third.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2017)
Named All-Region honoree in the hammer and shotput by USTFCCCA…Had a breakout season in the hammer and shotput during her sophomore season…Claimed gold in the Peach Belt Conference Championship in both events…Set a new school record in the hammer at 46.77m while throwing 12.64m in the shotput…Broke the shotput record, the oldest women’s record, at the FAMU Relays at 13.07m.

AS A FRESHMAN (2016)
Recognized by USTFCCCA as an All-Region Honoree in the shot put…Competed in the Heptathlon, shot put, the 100m and the Triple jump for the Sharks…Placed eighth at the Peach Belt Conference Championships in the Heptathlon with 3,349 point and fourth in the shot put with a seasons-best 12.27m…Best 100 time came at the Sharks Invitational with 13.27…Jumped to a personal-best 10.94m in the triple jump at the USF Invitational.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Competed four years in basketball and track and field at John A. Ferguson Senior High School…Averaged 12 points and 12 rebounds per game in basketball…Scored 24 points out of 30 at the FSU Relay Invitational track and field meet…Awarded the female athlete award by Miami Dade County, player of the week by Gatorade and Dr. Donald Hoecherl Athletic Award…Received the MVP track and field award her senior year…Named second team All-Dade in basketball and track and field.

Majoring in athletic training…Born in Little Rock, Arkansas…Daughter of Simeon Kemp and Yvonne Kemp…Has one sibling named Jabari Johnson…Helped recycle 20,000 used soap bars and shampoos in order to make recyclable soap to send to countries that don’t have the resources for good hygiene through the YMIA Orlando organization…Names her grandparents as the most influential people in her life because they have sacrificed a lot to helped her and her brother become bright young adults…Lists spaghetti as her favorite food…Enjoys hanging out with friends, helping people and learning new abilities…Names Lipita Nyongo, Lolo Jones and Martin Luther King Jr. as her favorite famous personalities…Enjoys watching Law and Order and her favorite movie is Coach Carter…Lists Bahamas as her favorite vacation destination, math as her favorite subject in school and the Miami Heat her favorite sports team.
