AS A SENIOR (2019) 
Started 42 games for the Sharks primarily at third base…After a slow start, he finished sixth on the team with a batting average of .313 and a slugging percentage of .447, good for seventh on the team…Was second for the Sharks with 40 runs scored and ranked third on the team with 36 RBI…Held an on-base streak of 14 games, giving him an on-base percentage of .409, the third best rate for the Sharks…Recorded 13 games with multiple hits and eight games with multiple RBI, third on the team for both of these statistics…His season was highlighted by a 2-for-3 batting performance with four RBI against Barry (3/6)…Kicked off his 2019 campaign with a home run in the season opener against Tusculum (2/1)...Collected six hits, three runs and three RBI at the NCAA South Regional, highlighted by a 3-for-5 performance with a double, a run and an RBI against West Florida (5/16)...Named to the All-Sunshine State Conference second team for his efforts at the hot corner.

AS A JUNIOR (2018) 
Appeared in 47 games, making 44 starts after transferring into NSU…Began the season recording hits in four straight, including nine of the first 10 games (2/1-2/24)…Collected a season high four hits against So. New Hampshire, including the first long ball of his Sharks career (3/13)…Had a career high three RBI, as well as three runs scored in a win at Saint Leo (4/8)…Stole two bases against Eckerd (4/21), notching 14 stolen bases on 15 attempts. On the season, Acevedo posted a stellar .297 batting average after collecting 49 hits, with two home runs, 31 RBI, 16 walks, 10 hit by pitches and two triples.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL
Arrives at NSU after playing at Eastern Florida State College…Played in 29 games as a Titan, hitting .413 with a .456 on-base percentage and .615 slugging percentage.
 
HIGH SCHOOL
Played baseball for John Druin at Boyton Beach Community High School…Posted  a slash line of .431/.549/.600 with 28 hits, nine RBI’s, seven doubles, two triples and 21 runs scored...Selected to the All-Star game after being named First Team All-County.
