AS A GRADUATE-STUDENT (2018)
One of three players to see action in all 30 matches during her single season as a Shark, starting all but two… led the team with 66.0 total blocks including 57 block assists and nine solo blocks, which were both also team-highs… finished with 167 kills, averaging 1.72 per game… posted a .168 attack percentage while adding 10 service aces… tallied a season-high 15 kills against Valdosta State on Oct. 20 along with three block assists… was named to the 2018 Fall SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
While at Oklahoma, Atherton tallied a total of 55 kills and 50 blocks, ranking fourth on the squad in blocks during the 2017 season with 44... in 2016, she had a career-high nine kills on 12 attempts vs. UT Martin while also posting a career-high .750 hitting percentage on six kills without an error and three blocks in a start vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

Born in Tulsa, Okla... will pursue a masters degree in public health... says her coaches and her teammates who she has learned from on and off the court in her lifetime of participating in athletics and her family who always support her in all of her activities are the most influential people in her life... daughter of Robert and Julia Atherton... has a brother and sister-in-law, Garrett & Allison Atherton and sister and brother-in-law, Laura & Allen Thurman.
