AS A SOPHOMORE (2019)
After making three pitching appearances as a freshman, Schmidt made 11 appearances for the Sharks coming out of the bullpen during the 2019 season…During these 11 appearances, Schmidt pitched for a total of 7.0 innings, recording nine strikeouts and eight walks…His best performance came against American International (3/12) in which he recorded three strikeouts and only allowed one hit in 1.0 inning of work.

AS A FRESHMAN (2018)
Made three appearances early in the season out of the bullpen for the Sharks…Pitched a season high 0.2 innings with two strikeouts against Lander (3/8)…Overall, just recorded an inning of work with four walks and two strikeouts in his freshman campaign.

HIGH SCHOOL
Pitched for Alan Clark at J.P. Taravella HS…Notched a 5-2 record with 51 strikeouts in 35.0 innings of work as a senior.
 
CLUB
Pitched for former NSU assistant basketball coach Lenny Roberts with the Florida Pokers, going 6-1 with 60 strikeouts in 42.0 innings.
