AS A SENIOR (2019)
Was one of three Sharks to play in all 31 matches in 2019… contributed 605 assists, second-highest on the team, to the Shark offense during her final season… averaged 5.04 assists per set… recorded 32 service aces and picked up 219 digs… tallied a career-high 32 assists in a five-set win over Eckerd (Nov. 16) and a season-high 15 digs at Embry-Riddle on Nov. 22… served out a season-high four aces at Lynn on Nov. 5… was named to the 2019 Fall Commissioner's Honor Roll… was inducted into the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society in Spring 2020.
AS A JUNIOR (2018)
Saw action in 28 matches with 14 starts… contributed 360 assists averaging 3.87 per set… tallied 17 aces and 199 digs… tallied a season-high 25 assists against Saint Leo on Nov. 3 and a season-high 17 digs against Lee on Oct. 19… was named to the 2018 Fall SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
A 5-8 setter junior transfer from Santa Fe College... she led the team in assists back-to-back years, helping the Saints to become 2017 FCSAA State Runners Up and 2016 NJCAA National Semi-Finalists... academically, she earned the 2017-2018 Dr. Portia Taylor Student-Athlete Excellence in Academics Award, and found her name on the 2016-2017 First Team Academic All American and FCSAA State All-Academic Teams.
PERSONAL
Daughter of Darin and Becky Cox and has two siblings, Carah and Cale... majoring in biomedical engineering... says there is not just one person who has been influential in her life, but many.
