After being named among the preseason South Region Players to Watch by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper, made the transition from closer to starter and recorded five starts before the season was cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic...Recorded the team's fourth-best and NCAA's 97th-best ERA at 1.99 and second-best WHIP (0.88) with a 1-2 record in 22.2 innings - producing a .207 average against...Led the Sharks with 23 strikes versus only three walks, ranking 28th nationally with a 7.67 strikeout-to-walk ratio and 38th in WHIP, listing at 36th in the NCAA with 1.19 walks per nine innings...Appeared against Top-20 opponents in 4-of-5 outings and held the opposition scoreless three times...For his efforts, he ranked among the SSC leaders in walks allowed (2nd) hits allowed (17 - 3rd), runs and earned runs allowed (5th), ERA (8th) and opposing average (9th)...Recorded a career-long outing at No. 13 Embry-Riddle (2/28) with 7.0 innings of five-hit, one-run pitching, striking out five Eagles (also catching two runners stealing against ERAU)...Followed up with a career-best seven strikeouts with one hit in 5.0 innings against American International (3/6), combining on for the shutout victory.

AS A JUNIOR (2019)
Made 18 relief appearances in his first season with the Sharks…Produced a 4-1 record and a 3.58 ERA with a team second-most two saves…Led strictly relief pitchers with 37.2 innings (fifth overall), tallying 43 strikeouts to 11 saves – the second-most fanned batters on the team…Led the team with a 3.91 strikeout-to-walk ratio and also a 10.4 strikeouts per nine innings average…Earned his first NSU save in a 4.0-inning victory over Embry-Riddle (2/22), striking out six Eagles with no walks on just one hit…Followed up with his first NSU victory at Lander (3/9), striking out a season-high seven of the 11 batters he faced in 3.0 innings of work, walking none with just two hits…Earned the win at Eckerd (4/20), closing off the back of the victory with a season-best 5.0 innings, striking out four…Held the Tampa (5/18) scoreless with two strikeouts in three innings of action of the 12-inning NCAA South Region Final in Tampa…Held opponents without an earned run in 12 outings.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL
Pitched two seasons at Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Fla…Named to the 2018 All-Southern Conference first team as a sophomore…During that sophomore campaign, Williams mixed outings between starter and reliever, making 20 appearances with an 8-1 record, a 2.30 ERA and four saves, striking out 56 in 54.2 innings of work…Threw 27.0 innings of relief across 23 outings in his rookie season, finishing with a 0-0 record and 3.33 ERA, striking out 25 opposing batters with 11 walks.

Played three years of baseball at Melbourne High School under coach Jeff Blackstone…Helped the Bulldogs reach the 2016 Florida 7A Regional final…As a senior, batted .460 with a 1.37 ERA to received first-team All-Cape Coast Conference honors.
