Competed in four meets... finished 13th in the 5k at the STU Bobcat (8/27) with a time of 22:46.1.
AS A TRACK AND FIELD FRESHMAN (2020)
Competed in three meets of her rookie season before cancelations stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic cut the campaign short…Logged personal bests in each meet, a 5:33.79 in the 1500m in the season-opening NSU Sharks Invitational (2/22), a 20:30.11 during the UT Track Classic (2/28) 5k and set a collegiate 800m baseline at 2:45.04 at the Bobcat/Shark Relays (3/10).
AS A CROSS COUNTRY FRESHMAN (2019)
Competed in six meets during her rookie campaign, producing a scoring performance in three outings…Ran a season-best 5k time of 21:00.66 at the Mountain Dew Invitational (9/14) and her rookie-best 28:04.10 in the 6k at the Sunshine State Conference Championships (10/26)…Logged her highest finish of the year at the Florida Tech Invitational (9/7), coming in 24th with a 5k time of 21:22.26…Named to the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.
HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from Seneca Valley High School in Harmony, Pa…Played soccer for two seasons, ran cross country for two seasons and competed in track and field for all four seasons…Under coaches Justin Dosch and Steve Strelick, she earned varsity status all four years of track and both seasons of cross country… Qualified for the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL) as an individual all four seasons of track and both seasons of cross country…Contributed points to her team’s fourth place finish during the WPIALs in both her freshmen and senior seasons…During her senior season, she ran a 20:07.00 in the 5k, a 12:03.00 in the 3200m, 5:27.03 in the 1600m, and a 2:26.00 in the 800m.
PERSONAL
Came to the Sharks from Cranberry Township, Pa…The daughter of Peter and Cristen…Has two siblings, Haley and Peter… Always straightens her hair and wears the same outfit for every race…Has volunteered with Relay for Life, Turkey Chase, the Salvation Army, senior citizen luncheons and her local elementary school science fair…Chose NSU in large part due to the friendliness of the people along with year round warm weather…Lists her former high school coach, Coach Dorsch, and her parents as some of the most influential people in her life.
