AS A SOPHOMORE (2020)*
Made five appearances with four starts before the season was cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic, logging an 0-1 record and 6.59 ERA in 13.1 innings, striking out 13...Went a season-long 5.0 innings against No. 16 Newberry (2/15), limiting the Wolves to just one run and two hits while striking out three...Recorded a season-high six strikeouts in his first outing of the year against Tusculum (2/1), throwing 4.0 innings...Named to the Spring SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.
AS A FRESHMAN (2019)
During his rookie campaign, Campbell made 14 appearances for the Sharks on the mound starting 13 games throwing for 64.1 innings, tossing 3.0 scoreless innings to close out the season-opening victory over Tusculum (2/1) in his lone relief appearance, allowing two hits and striking out four batters…Logging a 5.18 ERA, Campbell posted a 6-2 record, the second most victories among Sharks’ pitchers…Was one of two pitchers for the Sharks to throw a complete game…During his complete game, Campbell improved to 5-1 with a 6-1 victory over Florida Tech (3/16), allowing only two hits and one run, striking out six batters with none walked…Facing only 29 batters in the game, Campbell threw 113 pitches in one of the Sharks’ best pitching performances of the season…Struck out a season-high eight batters in his second start, tossing 6.0 innings against Barry (2/9) with just three hits and one run allowed…Over the course of the season, he recorded the third most strikeouts for the Sharks with 42 versus 25 walks in a Sharks second-most 64.1 innings pitched.
