Taravella High School in Coral Springs, Acker tossed 31.1 innings with a 1.79 ERA, to earn a 5-2 record…Started five out of his 10 appearances on the mound…Recorded 34 strikeouts and only walked 10 opposing batters, earning a WHIP of 0.89…Over the course of his prep career, he collected 74 strikeouts with a career WHIP of 1.22 in 76.1 innings...Named Team Captain his senior season.
