Biography
AS A JUNIOR (2021)
Competed in all four regular season meets, throwing the javelin each outing before finishing the year with a career-best, ninth-place mark of 28.50m (93-6) at the Peach Belt Conference Championships in Daytona Beach...Won the high jump at both the South Florida Collegiate Challenge #3 and #4 meets in Miramar, earning seventh place at the PBC Championships on a season-best 1.50m (4-11)...Member of the All-Sportsmanship Team at the PBC Championships.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2020)
Was only able to compete in one meet before the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic brought a halt to the season...Threw javelin for the first time in college with a seventh-place 26.54m (87-1) at the Bobcat-Shark Relays in Miramar...Earned recognition as a member of the Peach Belt Conference's Teams of Academic Distinction and earned a Division II Athletic Directors Association (D2ADA) Academic Achievement Award...Received the Unsung Hero award for the women's track team at the annual Sharky's Award Show.
AS A FRESHMAN (2019)
Competed in seven meets during her first season with the Sharks, setting four new personal bests on the season...Earned third place in the triple jump at the Peach Belt Conference Championships, reaching a career-best 10.91m (35-9.5) despite only learning the event during meet week...Also finished second at the PBC Championships in the 100m hurdles with a wind-aided 14.96, was fifth in the high jump at 1.50m (4-11) and was third leg on NSU's sixth-place 4x100m relay at 50.13 - helping the women's team to an overall third-place finish...Also set a collegiate best in the high jump to finish 13th at the Miami Hurricane Alumni Invitational on a mark of 1.51m (4-11.5).
HIGH SCHOOL
Competed in four years of track and field at Woodmore High School under coach Zebadiah George, also playing four years of soccer and two years of basketball for the Wildcats...Got an early jump to success as a freshman with a 2015 Northern Buckeye Conference Championship on a 5-2 high, jump mark, finishing second in the OHSAA Division 3 District meet at Gibsonburg...As a sophomore, earned seventh place in the high jump at the OHSAA State Track and Field Championships on a high school-best 5-4 jump, also finishing seventh and sixth in later District meets...Finished as high as third in the 100m hurdles at Division 3 Region 10 and went to State twice in the event, topping out at 15.60...Also made a State appearance in the 300m hurdles with a top time of 46.48.

Originally from Elmore, Ohio...Majoring in Biology with minors in Psychology for the Health Sciences and Bioinformatics...Daughter of Todd and Sheila Rothert and has one sibling, Claire.
