AS A SENIOR (2024)
Named a captain for the 2024 season... appeared in eight sets and five matches during the 2024 season.   

AS A JUNIOR (2023)
Appeared in 87 sets and 26 matches for NSU... finished tied for third on the team in service aces with 17. 

AS A SOPHOMORE (2022)
Chessar has made a tremendous impact for the Sharks since transitioning to a middle-hitter... named the Sunshine State Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 10, following a dominant three-match run where she recorded a total of 20 blocks, including a career-high 10 against Rollins on 10/8... totaled double-digit kills, tying her career-high of 10, on four occasions in 2022, against Noth Greenville (8/27), Lynn (9/10), Tampa (9/17) and Lee (10/14). 

AS A FRESHMAN (2021)
Coming to NSU alongside high school teammate Kate Mihacevich, Chessar appeared in 23 sets for NSU during her freshman campaign and started three matches... Chessar recorded 26 kills, including a season-high of 10 against Rollins in SSC play on 11/5... in the same match, Chessar also added two service aces. Named to the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll. 

HIGH SCHOOL
Played high school with current teammate Kate Mihacevich for one of the best programs in the country, Padua Franciscan, ranking as high as number one in the MaxPreps 2020 poll... her team finished state runner-up in 2019 and 2020... as a six-rotation right side her senior year, she finished the season with 167 kills, 122 digs, a team-best 39 aces and 37 blocks, earning her a spot on the All-District Second Team... also played club volleyball for Cleveland Volleyball Company, who finished third in the country at 2021 USAV Junior Nationals.

PERSONAL
Daughter of Ed and Debbie Chessar and has two sisters, Rachel and McKenzie... Majoring in Biology... Most memorable athletic achievement was beating the number one-ranked Tampa at home during the 2022 season... Likes NSU the most because it provides a beautiful and welcoming environment that allows her to grow as a student-athlete... As she has been blessed to have many great role models in her life, both her grandpas (Grandpa Chessar and Grandpa Hovan) have been the most influential out of them all... Between her Grandpa Chessar's drive to help people as a Cleveland Fire Chief to her Grandpa Hovan who has inspired her through his compassion he shows others, she can't thank them enough for all they have done for her.
