Set the NSU Volleyball single season program record for block assists in a season (131)... earned AVCA All-American honorable mention recognition.. named to the first-team All-Sunshine State Conference... recognized as an AVCA All-South Region first-team member and D2 CCA All-South Region second-team honoree... as of the conclusion of the regular season, tied for the national lead in block assists, tied for third nationally in total blocks and ranks seventh in block-per-set... holds the program record for career attack percentage (minimum 750 attempts) 0.303, ranks fifth all-time in blocks (338) and ranks second all-time in blocks-per-set (1.1).... set career-bests in kills (256), kills/set (2.29), service aces (24), solo blocks (24), block assists (130), total blocks (154), blocks-per-set (1.38). points (369) and points-per-set (3.29)... recorded a career-high 11 blocks against Quincy (9/20)... set a new career-high with 18 kills and 23.5 point against Florida Southern (11/23).
AS A SOPHOMORE (2023)
Appeared in 92 sets and started 22 matches for the Sharks... accumulated 163 points, totaling 112 kills and 88 blocks... the 88 blocks ranked third for the Sharks... recorded ten kills in each of the Sharks NCAA South Region Tournament matches and totaled 11 blocks in the tournament.
AS A FRESHMAN (2022)
Appeared in 64 sets and started 16 matches for Nova Southeastern as a freshman... finished her first season fourth on the team in points (150), fourth in kills (111), and tied for the team lead in total blocks (65)... set her season-high with 10 in the regular season finale against Embry-Riddle... Aniol also earned Sunshine State Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors on Monday, Nov. 14... was named to the Sunshine State Conference All-Freshman team.
HIGH SCHOOL
Aniol joins Nova Southeastern from East Lake High School. During her career, Aniol recorded 774 kills, 76 blocks, 237 digs, and 23 service aces. Additionally, she was a three-sport athlete, starring in Track & Field and Soccer while at East Lake. Aniol was named the 2021 East Lake Volleyball MVP and earned 7A Player of the Year honors. Additionally, Aniol was recognized as the 2018 Rookie of the Year and 2019 Defensive MVP.
PERSONAL
Majoring in Psychology...she has a sister, Natalie, who plays volleyball at Eckerd College... Her goals for the season are to earn an all-conference award and to win both an SSC Championship and a regional title... She is a Detroit Lions fan and a big fan of Harry Potter... Her hobbies include reading scary books, watching horror movies, and spending time in the sun...
