NSU earned the department's third consecutive top 10 finish in the Learfield Director's Cup, as 12 programs qualified for NCAA postseason. The Sharks accumulated four Sunshine State Conference Championships – Women's Cross Country, Men's Basketball (regular season and tournament), and Women's Golf – winning two NCAA Division II National Championships – Women's Swimming and Men's Basketball, bringing the department total to 15, in addition to 23 student-athletes being recognized as All-Americans.
