The strength and conditioning staff also strives to develop athletes to become mentally tough on and off the field. Available to all student-athletes is a nutrition corner supplied with the Muscle Milk Collegiate product.

The installation of two 52-inch flat screen televisions and a state-of-the-art stereo system with 14 speakers & two Sub-woofers were also added. The screens will display video of proper lifting techniques as well as PowerPoint presentations of workouts specific to the teams scheduled to lift at any given time. All of this is controlled from a customized touch panel mounted in the wall.

The strength and conditioning program is operated day-to-day by head strength coach Steve Orris, who manages a staff of three additional strength coaches.
