Nova Southeastern University Athletics

NSU Athletics is a great source of pride for our community. Our Shark student-athletes consistently represent the university at the highest level, both on and off the playing field. They are leaders among their peers and an inspiration to all.

The 2022-23 season was a banner year for the Sharks, who brought home three NCAA DII national championships! The Men’s Basketball team blew past all expectations and completed their second undefeated regular season and won their first national championship. They also set the record for the most points scored in a championship game—in any division. The Women’s Swimming team also won a national championship, and its members also won 11 individual national championships during the season. Our Men’s Golf team won their third national championship, and a member of the Women’s Golf team won an individual national championship.

Our student-athletes dominate not only in sports, but also in academics. As of 2023, NSU Athletics has achieved 26 consecutive semesters of a departmental GPA above 3.00. In the last semester, the department achieved a GPA of 3.46—its highest ever.

The entire NSU Shark Nation—from Razor and the campus community, to all of the Shark fans—are cheering them on for continued success in the next season. There is no limit to what our talented Sharks can achieve!
